Awareness session to commemorate World AIDS Day

The PG Department of Psychology and NSS Unit, WIRAS, organized an awareness session to commemorate World AIDS Day. Mr. Rahanas T (Assistant Professor) delivered the welcome speech, emphasizing the importance of awareness and education in combating the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS. 
Mr. Shinooj, Jr. Health Inspector, was the resource person for the session, delivering a comprehensive presentation that dispelled common myths and misconceptions about HIV/AIDS. The session was highly informative and helped students gain a better understanding of HIV/AIDS. Ms. Shamreena, a 6th-semester BSc Psychology student, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the resource person, organizers, and participants. 
Ms. Sahla Abdul Rahman (Head of the department, psychology) presented a memento to Mr. Shinooj as a token of appreciation for his informative and engaging presentation.
