Community visit to the Gender Park
As part of their academic curriculum, the 6th semester undergraduate Psychology students embarked on a community visit to the Gender Park on 10th December 2024. The students gained a comprehensive understanding of the initiatives and activities undertaken by the Gender Park to promote gender equality and empowerment.The visit commenced with an eloquent and descriptive introduction by Ms. Divya, the resource person from Gender Park. She provided an overview of the park's activities, initiatives, and objectives. The students engaged in an interactive session with Ms. Divya on various aspects of the Gender Park, followed by a visit to the Heritage Museum, which showcased a collection of artifacts, exhibits, and displays highlighting the history and cultural significance of gender-related issues. The students also explored the Gender Library, which housed an extensive collection of gender-specific books, archives, and resources that provided them with a wealth of information on gender-related topics and issues. The students expressed appreciation for the opportunity to engage with Ms. Divya and explore the Heritage Museum and Gender Library.
