Inclusion Summit 2023 

PG Department of Psychology, NSS and Autism Club Kerala organised Inclusion summit on 16th and 17th December, 2023. As part of spreading the message that the characteristics of autistic children should be respected and nurtured, a two-day inclusion summit involving children and parents was started at Wadihuda Institute of Research and Advanced Studies. Ta'aleemul Islam Trust group of institutions Vice Chairman SAP Abdus Salam inaugurated the event. WIRAS Principal Dr. Aboo Ishaq conveyed greetings. Autism Club office bearers Nazeer, Hajara PS and Farseena felicitated the event. Awareness classes for parents, inclusion football tournaments involving children and parents, road safety rally etc. were held in the camp which started on Saturday morning. The camp also prepared a platform for children to showcase their unique talents. The 2-day camp will conclude on Sunday afternoon. The event concluded on 17th December , 2023 afternoon. More than 100 people including children and parents participated in the camp and discussed how to deal with autistic children and how to bring them into the society.
