WIRAS - Independence Day Celebration

The Independence Day celebration at Wadihuda Institute of Research and Advanced Studies was marked with great enthusiasm on 15th August 2024. The event began with the flag hoisting by the Principal, Dr. Aboo Ishaque, who also delivered an inspiring message highlighting the significance of the day. Following the principal's address, the Heads of Departments and faculty members also shared their thoughts. Mr. Pradeepan, HoD of the Language Department, Dr. Akhil Ramachandran, Vice Principal, and Mr. Rahanas T.P., NSS Programme Officer, each gave a message emphasizing the importance of independence and the role of youth in nation-building. Associate Dean of Students, Mr. Arsh A. Majeed, also addressed the gathering, encouraging students to contribute positively to society. The event was further attended by Mr. Sajesh, HoD of the Physical Education Department, and Ms. Sahla Abdu Rahman, HoD of the Psychology Department. The celebration saw active participation from NSS students, adding a sense of patriotism and responsibility to the occasion. The event concluded with a sense of pride and renewed commitment towards the nation's progress.
