MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING AND GUIDANCE TO THE FLOOD VICTIMS OF KERALA

Under the supervision of Mental Health Department of WIRAS and AWH college payyannur, students took a foremost step to rehabilitate and provide proper mental health care to the victims of the flood affected areas on 17th August 2019. They visited the houses of the victims to provide them with proper counseling under the supervision of the consultant psychologist namely Akhil K, Priya Sarath, Thaniya K. The throng of students received a special training from the Psychological Service Hub of WIRAS and Psychology Circle of Payyannur. These determined students visited taliparamb, sreekandapuram, payangadi, ezhome, pappinisseri, peringome within a span of two days.
