NAAC PEER TEAM VISIT
The NAAC Peer Team visited Wadihuda Institute of Research and Advanced Studies (WIRAS) on Wednesday and Thursday (23rd October, 2024) to assess the institution’s academic and non-academic facilities. The team consisted of Dr. Roda Sayanna, former Vice-Chancellor of Kakatiya University, Telangana; Dr. Kishori Nayak, Former Dean at Mangalore University; and Dr. Sumathi Mohan, Professor at Bharathiar University, Tamil Nadu.
During the two-day visit, the committee thoroughly evaluated the college’s educational infrastructure and facilities, meeting with department heads, faculty, students, and management representatives to gain a comprehensive understanding of the college's functioning. The committee also interacted with Alumni and Parents to review the academic processes and overall learning environment at WIRAS.
In the evening, students presented a cultural program featuring performances that celebrated Kerala's traditions through dance, music, and art. This showcase of cultural heritage and talent was highly appreciated by the NAAC team, earning special praise for its artistic quality and cultural significance.
On Thursday (24th October, 2024), the committee conducted a detailed review of the files and activities of various cells and clubs, following which they prepared the NAAC report and held an exit meeting in the afternoon. As a symbolic gesture of their visit, the team members planted saplings on the WIRAS campus, leaving a lasting memory of their time at the institution.
The NAAC Peer Team’s visit has been a significant milestone for WIRAS, marking an important step in the college's journey toward quality enhancement and academic excellence.
