NATIONAL EDUCATION POLICY WEBINAR 2020

Objectives of organizing this program was
1. To provide information on NEP 2020.
2. To generate a productive discussion on NEP 2020 among stakeholders.

Webinar on NATIONAL EDUCATION POLICY 2020 was an insight generating session organized by Internal Quality Assurance Cell of WIRAS on September 5th teachers day. The target participants were teachers and the stakeholders in the educational field. Representatives from the management and trust were also present in the program.

The online zoom meeting started with a prayer song. With the welcome speech of Mr Mohammed Iqbal P (Principal, WIRAS) the formal session of the webinar started followed by the presidential address by Mr V.K Hamzah Abbas (Chairman, Ta’aleemul Islamic Trust). The formal inauguration of the session were declared by Dr Muhammed Unni Alias Musthafa (Dean& Professor, Dept. of education, Central University of Kerala). In his inaugural speech, he spoke about the role of a teacher and the teaching profession. He also briefly mentioned about the importance of NEP 2020.Followed by the inaugural address the resource person of the day Dr. Mohammed Bedeeuzzaman (CEO, Integrated Education Council India) gave detailed information on NEP 2020. During the discussion, the participants and the resource person had a pleasant interaction.

Felicitation address was expressed by Mr Sajid K P (Trust member, Ta'aleemul Islam Trust). While concluding the session Mr. Subair M(IQAC Assistant Coordinator) expressed gratitude to each and every person who were part of the program. The session ended at 12.30 pm.

There were 112 participants on zoom meeting and rest of them were provided the Facebook link to watch the program live at WIRAS official Facebook page. Comments and responses from the participants revealed that the session was beneficial. Feedback was collected through online form.
