Videography Contest

The Onam Celebration Videography Contest was a vibrant and creative event that took place on        26-8-23, Saturday. It was organized as a part of the Onam festivities, aiming to showcase the rich cultural heritage and traditions of Kerala through the lens of talented videographers. The competition received an overwhelming response, with participants from diverse backgrounds coming together to celebrate this auspicious occasion.

The theme for this competition was "Onaakhosham’23". This theme encouraged participants to explore and depict various aspects of Onam, such as Pookalam (flower rangoli), traditional attire, Onam Sadhya (feast), and games.

Participants were given a period of 2 days to create and submit their videos. The videos were to be between 2 minutes in length and could be in mp4 format, landscape mode with resolution 1920x1080.

 The competition offered cash prize to the winners. The top 2 videos were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the celebration of Onam.

After careful evaluation and deliberation, the judges selected the following winners:

1. First Place: Muhammed Rafeeque, 5th Semester BCom Computer Application   

2. Second Place:Zuhair Hameed, 5th Semester BCom Co-operation

Participants expressed their enthusiasm and gratitude for the competition, stating that it provided them with an opportunity to showcase their creativity and learn more about Kerala's culture. 

The Onam Celebration Videography Contest was a resounding success, bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds to celebrate the vibrant culture and traditions of Kerala.
