WEBINAR ON CURIOSITY FOR THE FUNDAMENTAL CONSTITUENTS OF MATTER

Department of Physics - WIRAS conducted a webinar on 2nd July 2020 on the topic " CURIOSITY FOR THE FUNDAMENTAL CONSTITUENTS OF MATTER". Dr. Abdullah Abdulsalam Assistant Professor from King Abdul Azeez University - Jeddah was the Resource Person. The session began at 2:30pm by the welcome speech of the HOD of Department - Professor Ramachandran M.N which followed by the presidential address of the WIRAS Principal Mr. P . Muhammed Iqbal. The session began on time. Mr. Abdullah explained the basic concepts related to the fundamental particles. He also mentioned about its recent research and findings. He elaborated the topic about the particle that are used as probes in order to explore atomic and subatomic structures. The webinar was winded up with the lively interactions of faculty with the students. Feedback from participants indicated that the session was much informative and the participants were looking forward for more webinars.
