A talk on girls' health
PG department of psychology in collaboration with Women Development Cell and department of physiology organized a talk on girls health : Adolescence & Beyond: Health, Mind & Safety," by Dr. Lubaina Zakkiya.The session focused on several crucial aspects of girls' well-being, covering a range of topics relevant to adolescence and beyond. Dr Lubaina expertly addressed key areas such as girls' health (including nutrition and hygiene), menstruation (covering hygiene and related concerns), safety measures (including personal safety and preventive measures), and stress management (yoga techniques).The event proved to be highly beneficial for the girl students. The talk provided a platform for open discussion and knowledge sharing, empowering young women with valuable information and resources to navigate the challenges and opportunities of adolescence and beyond. The presence of an experienced Ayurvedic consultant added a unique dimension to the discussion, potentially focusing importance on women's health.
