International Women's Day Celebration

A session on Own your Future: Basics to financial independence was conducted on March 10, 2025, in collaboration with the Rotary Club, Pariyaram, as part of the International Women’s Day celebrations. The session was led by Mrs.Sasikala Haridas Paleri, retired Deputy Manager of SBI*, who shared valuable insights into financial literacy and empowerment for women.  

The event commenced with the presence of distinguished members of the *Rotary Club*alongside Mrs.Sasikala. 
The session started with felicitation ceremony, where Mr. Suhas Shetty, President of rotary club Pariyaram and Rtn. Leena honored Mrs.Sasikala for her insightful contribution.
Mrs. Sasikala emphasized the importance of financial independence for women, highlighting that learning how to spend money wisely is just as crucial as learning to save it. She provided practical guidance on financial planning, budgeting, and investment strategies tailored for women.  

The event successfully educated and empowered women on financial independence, encouraging them to take charge of their finances and make informed financial decisions. The session concluded leaving the attendees with a deeper understanding of financial management and self-sufficiency.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Fathima Dawood, expressing gratitude to the speaker and all participants.
