Social Enterprise Challenge

The Social Enterprise Challenge was successfully organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Club in association with the PG Department of Commerce and IQAC WIRAS on 4th February ,2025. The event served as a platform for students to present their innovative business ideas aimed at creating a positive social impact.

The competition featured several enthusiastic student teams presenting their entrepreneurial ideas. Their presentations were evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges, including Dr. Akhil R. (Vice Principal), Mr. Miqdad Sulaiman (Assistant Professor, Psychology Department), and Mr. Muhammed Bilal (Assistant Professor, Arabic Department). The judges posed insightful questions and provided valuable feedback to help students refine their concepts.

The event began with a welcome address delivered by Fathimathul Fida, a 2nd-year B.Com student. Participants then showcased their creative and impactful business ideas, demonstrating innovation and problem-solving skills.

Following rigorous evaluation, the winners were announced:
???? Best Social Impact Award – Safwaan Muhammed and Muna Khadeeja (2nd Year BBA Students)
???? Most Innovative Solution Award – Kamarudheen CH and Rameez S P (3rd Year BCA Students)

The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Mufaza P C, expressing gratitude to the participants, judges, and organizers for their contributions to the event’s success.

The Social Enterprise Challenge effectively showcased the entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and social consciousness of students, inspiring them to develop ideas that can drive meaningful change in society.
